South Korean starlet Lee Seung-Woo has threatened to leave Barcelona if he does not receive a chance in the first team.
The 19-year-old joined the La Masia academy back in 2011 but is yet to feature for the senior Blaugrana side.
Now, it appears he has had enough and has voiced his concerns, with German giants Borussia Dortmund waiting to pounce if he does opt to leave this summer.
And now, their chances have been boosted further, with Seung-Woo saying to Marca: “After meeting with the team and listening to other people’s advice, I will make the best decision possible.
“If I do not play for Barcelona then I will choose a team that offers me the best options. I have to prepare for a new season at a crucial time (of my career).
“I would like to continue my development to improve as a footballer. If I play well for another club then I might just go back to Barcelona later.
“That’s football, and moving to another team would not mean failure.”
Seung-Woo has been one of the stars of the La Masia setup in recent years, scoring goals for fun and starring for his country at youth level.
However, he just simply has not been given any sort of chance in the first-team, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez holding dominance in the forward positions.
The Blaugrana have even been linked with the likes of Ousmane Dembele this summer, highlighting that Seung-Woo stands little chance of breaking into the setup.
A move away looks all but a formality now.
