Lebanon recently deported a convicted Daesh (ISIS) member to his home country of Iraq after he was sentenced for manufacturing chemical weapons, State Prosecutor Samir Hammoud told a local paper printed Thursday.

Dawlaai was tried in Lebanon in October of last year on charges of belonging to Daesh and manufacturing toxic gas.

Citing Lebanese sources, NRT reported that negotiations over the deportation took place April between Aoun, Hariri and Justice Minister Salim Jreissati representing Lebanon and Iraqi Chief of National Intelligence Mustafa Kadhimi representing Iraq.

Dawlaai, NRT added, is currently being questioned in an Iraqi prison for information about Daesh.
